Hello and welcome to Tyranny in 26 Parts... my blog filled with ramblings about my daily life.
I got the idea to start this blog from my delightfully genius best friend/big sister, Melinda, who recently started a blog of her own to chronicle her cross-country move and to keep the world updated on her literary brilliance. So here I am, with a dream, a website, and hopefully a whole lot to write about.
This, my gentle reader, brings us to what I assume is a burning question in your mind. "But Ari!" you may query, "what in heaven's name are you going to write about?" Well my friends, that depends entirely on the day! I set out on this blog with the intention of emptying my thoughts after a long day. So it will/could contain any number of things, but here's a pretty good idea of what you can expect to see on my blog...
1) Random anecdotes from my day, funny things my friends say, etc etc.
2) My adventures in the kitchen. As a young man who's seriously considering going to culinary school, I cook a lot. Sometimes it's awesome, and sometimes not so much. You can be certain I'll pass good recipes along, and entertain you with the stories of my failures.
3) The various and sundry adventures of Murphy's Elite Legion (M.E.L.), my group of best friends. We mostly stay out of trouble, but always have a good time.
4) Things of a literary nature. As an avid reader I'll occasionally post book reviews, sometimes scraps of my own fiction, or quotes I find fantastically poignant.
In addition to the four things above, I'll probably end up posting whatever the heck I feel like. So I hope you enjoy it, I know I'll enjoy writing it!
